"Made these pork chops last night for dinner for me and my husband and we absolutely loved them! Addition of parmesan in the crust just elevates the whole dish!"
Pork chops
Eggs
Bread Crumbs
Parmesan Cheese
Garlic & Cayenne
Begin by patting the pork chops dry, then combining the seasoning with the parmesan and bread crumbs. Whish the egg with a tablespoon of water.
Dip a seasoned pork chop in the egg wash and let excess drip off
Then dip pork chop in the parmesan bread crumbs, making sure to ensure surface is well coated
Heat a cast iron skillet with 2 tbsp oil over medium-high heat, and saute both sides of the pork chops for 2-3 minutes till golden brown on each side
Now place pork chops in a 400 degree preheated oven and cook till internal temperature registers 145 degrees. For thicker pork chops this can take about 12 -15 minutes, and for thinner, is little as 7-9 minutes.
