In lidded jars, add oats and the cottage cheese mixture. Stir well, making sure to incorporate all the oats into the liquid. Add a bit more milk, about 1 ounce, stir and then seal.
If using old fashioned oats, let sit for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight. If using quick oats, let sit for at least 2 hours. Oats can be stored in fridge for up to 5 days.
