Homemade Nutella
Make a healthier version of Nutella at home with this easy recipe.

Servings: 1 .25 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup hazelnut meal
- ⅔ cup raw cacao powder
- ½ cup or slightly less, maple syrup
- ⅓-1/2 cup almond milk depending on how thick/thin you want it
- 1 heaping tablespoon coconut oil softened
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a powerful blender or food processor, and blend until a nice and smooth consistency is achieved.

I just made some of this and it tastes really chocolatey to me and not much of the hazelnut taste. Do you think I could put in more hazelnut meal and less of the cacao powder?

Thank you!!! Nutella is one of the major sticking points with my husband on our clean eating journey (surprisingly not my preschooler though! lol). So far any recipes I’d found online were more about being thrifty than healthy – can’t wait to try this.
