Step 1: Combine corn starch & flour in one shallow bowl and egg wash in another. Dredge chicken pieces in starch/flour mix, coating thoroughly.
Step 2: Dip coated chicken in egg wash, then dredge in starch/flour mixture one more time, and set on your air fryer basket. Make sure to spray basket first.
Step 4: – Set air fryer to 400 degrees and cook chicken in batches, for apx 13-15 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
To make the orange sauce– Combine orange juice, soy sauce and vinegar in a small saucepan over medium low heat. Cook till simmering, then stir in ginger and orange zest. Slowly whisk in corn starch slurry and stir till sauce thickens. Sauce takes less than 5 minutes to make!
Toss chicken pieces in orange sauce till well coated, and serve immediately. Add optional garnish of sesame seeds and green onions
